The oldest name in Zimbabwean law.

Established in 1893, Honey & Blanckenberg has served Zimbabwe through every chapter of its modern history — and aims for another century of trusted, professional legal service.

Since 1893

Founded before the courthouse it first argued in.

1893

Honey & Blanckenberg is established in Harare — the beginning of Zimbabwe's oldest legal practice.

20th Century

The firm grows into a full-service practice, acting for corporations, local authorities and generations of Zimbabwean families.

Today

Five specialist departments, a Chambers-ranked intellectual property practice, and membership of professional bodies from the Law Society of Zimbabwe to the International Bar Association.

Global

As members of the Nextlaw Global Referral Network — over 300 member firms and 18,600 lawyers in 160 countries — our clients' reach extends far beyond Zimbabwe.

Honey & Blanckenberg is a full-service law firm that carries out a complete range of legal work for large corporations, SMEs, local authorities, civil society organisations and private individuals.

Our aim is simple: another century of trusted quality and professional legal services. We pair deep institutional memory with modern, commercially-minded practice across five specialist departments — Intellectual Property, Corporate & Commercial, Litigation & General Work, Conveyancing, and Wills & Deceased Estates.

Our Intellectual Property practice is ranked in the Chambers Guide to leading intellectual property attorneys, and our people serve on the councils and committees of professional bodies in Zimbabwe and internationally.
